We pray for Faith, for respect of Life and for Peace so that our hearts grow in the Love of Christ and so that Belgium be blessed by God in all its undertakings.

-
For an increase of Catholic Faith for everyone
For the preservation and revival of the Faith in Belgium,
For the Church and all her members,
For the unity of the Faith within the Church of Christ,
For all who live in Belgium, including our national and international leaders.Faith
“… Our Faith allows us to see everything with a different eye: we see men as images of God, whom we must love and venerate; as pictures of Our Beloved Saviour to whom we must do all the good we can. Other creatures are those that must, without any exception, help us to attain Heaven, either by praising God on their behalf, by making use of them or by abstaining from them. This Faith, which shows us the greatness of God compared to our smallness, helps us to act without any hesitation or shame or fear, without ever retreating, wishing to do all that God loves. Such a Faith is rare ! … God, grant me such a Faith ! God, I love Thee, but increase my faith ! God, make me believe in Thee and love Thee, I ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen”Venerable Charles de Foucauld, Spiritual Writings, 1925, p.39, 49-50
Unity
When Jesus was preparing to return to His Father in Heaven, He said:
“My prayer is not for these alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me, because you loved me before the creation of the world.
Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”Saint John (17, 20-26)

Respect of Life :
We will gather together to pray the rosary in order that a real culture of life may emerge in Belgium, to counter all the attacks against life and human dignity. Christ is the Way, the Truth and He is also Life. He wants us to support our brothers and sisters, especially those who are more vulnerable.
Pope Saint John Paul II also wanted a prayer for Life to be spread throughout the world:“A massive prayer for Life throughout the world is urgent.”
(Evangelium Vitae n° 100)
With this rosary and the intercession of Our Lady, we will answer this call. With confidence, we pray to Our Mother all together, we ask God to protect all human life in our country, in which an increasing individualism threatens the most fragile people – babies in their mothers’ womb, and those who are approaching death. As Pope Benedict XVI said:
“Through our prayers, we shall obtain the grace and the light of God to change our hearts and we shall give a common ecclesial testimony for the culture of life and love.”
(Pope Benedict XVI, letter written on 14th June 2010)
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
(Saint John, 13, 35)

To answer the requests of Our Lady in Beauraing, Fatima and elsewhere,
so as to obtain “the conversion of sinners” and “Peace in the hearts for all people and countries.”
- In Belgium, Our Lady appeared in Beauraing in the years 1932 and 1933. She spoke several times, saying: “…Pray, pray a lot.”
On the 1st of Janvier : “Pray continually.”On 3rd January, Our Lady revealed a secret to the three younger children. She promised: “I shall convert sinners.”
She told the children: “I am the mother of God, the Queen of Heaven.“
She asked them: “Do you love my Son ? Do you love Me ? Then, make sacrifices for me. Farewell.” - In Fatima, Portugal, in 1917:
Our Lady spoke to the three children and asked them to come and see her for six consecutive months, on the 13th of each month. She promised them that they would go to Heaven. Together with the prayers that the Angel taught them, she asked the children to offer their sufferings for the conversion of poor sinners. The children immediately accepted her request.
Then Our Lady added another promise: “Thanks to the daily rosary, the world will be given peace.”

“…Take care to preserve the unity of the Spirit by the peace that binds you together…”
(Saint Paul, Ephesians 4:3-6)
The peace that the world offers you is very different from the peace of the Faith that Jesus gives us. Our Lord said:
“I do not give you my peace as the world gives it.”
(Saint John XIV, 27)
Jesus gives us His peace through Our Mother the Catholic Church. Political peace does not last long: it is only a strategic relationship between people or nations, based on a certain balance of power. Political peace collapses when these relationships change.
“They dress the wounds of the daughter of my people with very little care, saying « Peace, peace », where there is no peace”
(Jeremiah 8, 11)
“The Peace of Jesus is a person, it is the Holy Spirit! On the day of His resurrection, He came to the Cenacle and He said: ‘Peace be with you … Receive the Holy Ghost …’. This Peace of Jesus is a great gift. It is a definitive peace !”
(Pope Francis)
